Connection Telecom is a next generation Telecommunications Service Provider. We apply open-source, Internet-age technology to creating innovative products and services. We're also available to help you to do the same. We often base our developments on the open-source developed Asterisk software, and equipment based on Internet standards such as SIP.

Connection Telecom distributes a variety of specially designed low and high density telephony hardware - notably those made by Digium, the home of Asterisk. We also provide professional services related to Asterisk and related technologies.

Stephen Davies
CTO or the Chief "Stuff" Officer

As one of the founders of the commercial Internet industry in South Africa, Steve brings has an exceptional understanding of technology and its ability to solve real-world business challenges. The proof is in the pudding – Steve has been involved in the planning and implementation of a Europe-wide Internet service with more than 300 000 lines. For many years Steve has been an enthusiastic user and contributor to Open Source projects, including the Linux kernel, audio and video applications like mplayer, as well as the Asterisk PBX and voice-over-IP switch.

ICT Industry aficionado and Internet specialist Rob has been involved in the industry for the last 15 years. Coming from a strong sales background and interest in technology, and with an in-depth knowledge of Internet markets, technology and products I see VoIP as the "next wave" of technological advancement.
